[pharmacological action ]
This product is an anti anemia drug. Vitamin B12 participates in methyl conversion and folic acid metabolism in the body, and promotes the conversion of 5-methyltetrahydrofolate to tetrahydrofolate. When lacking, it will lead to DNA synthesis disorder and affect the maturation of red blood cells. This product also promotes the conversion of methylmalonic acid into succinic acid and participates in the tricarboxylic acid cycle. This effect is related to the synthesis of nerve myelin lipids and the maintenance of functional integrity of myelinated nerve fibers. The neural damage of vitamin B12 deficiency may be related to this.
[Pharmacokinetics]
After intramuscular injection, the absorption was rapid and complete, and the blood concentration reached the peak value about 1 hour. It is widely distributed in the body, but mainly stored in the liver. The total adult storage is 4-5mg. Most of them are excreted by kidney in 8 hours. The greater the dose, the more excreted.
[Storage method]
Protect from light and store in a closed place.
